I remember swimming at Meyers swimming pool during the winter, playing golf at Indian Tree, and playing soccer at Stenger Soccer Complex.  I care deeply about the Arvada community and believe that we have one of the strongest parks and recreation districts in the states.  I was excited to see the Apex bond initiative pass in 2016 and am eager to help ensure all projects are completed within budget and on time.  

I am running for the Apex parks and recreation district board to ensure our district continues to be innovative, financially sound, and to be a voice for our community.  I care deeply about opportunities for young people to explore new interests via sports, educational camps, and social events.  I also understand the deep need for activities geared towards all ages and abilities and would encourage the district to expand on programs for special needs individuals and seniors.
